Registration announcements - Friday, December 09, 2011

On-line registration for the Spring 2012 season will be available beginning Monday, December 12, 2011 at 12:00:00 AM and closing at 12:00:00 PM on Saturday, January 28, 2012.

To login to our web site please follow these steps:

1) Register for an account on the www.sball.org web site. To do this, click on the word 'Register' in the upper right hand corner of the web site. When creating your account be sure to enter your username, password, a valid email address, and your home phone number. The system will send you a confirmation email and a verification code to complete the account setup process.

2) Return to www.sball.org and press the word 'Login' in the upper right hand corner of the web site. This will bring you to the login screen where you will enter your username, password, and the verification code from the confirmation email. Once we have verified your login you will only need your username and password for future visits.

These first two steps will create an account on our web site. Only registered and verified users may use the On-Line registration process. As a Spring Branch Little League registered user you will get additional benefits throughout the season. For example, email alerts of schedule changes and rainouts. Also a parent’s home page to look at your child's schedule and standings if applicable.

Parking - Wednesday, May 26, 2010

We are occasionally facing new challenges with our ballpark parking. When the gym is hosting events, we sometimes experience delays on traversing through the parking lot and then finding limited spacing surrounding the ball fields. I would like to make the following suggestions to you regarding the parking;

1) Allow for extra travel time on Saturday's.

2) When a parking attendant is present, identify yourself as attending baseball or Little League. You should then be allowed access to the parking areas surrounding our fields.

3) Follow the attendants instructions.

4) Be sure to check for parking behind the small field as well as the area between the gym & elementary school.

5) Discourage all players & children from throwing rocks in all areas including the parking lot.

6) Parking is at your own risk so I discourage parking in areas that might see foul balls or the occasional home run.

7) Report any problems to Brent Favor in person, by email (brent@vfhouston.com) or cell phone (713-298-5570).

Problems will occassionally come up, but we are continuously seeking ways to improve our Little League operations including our relationship with League America.

To be listed on our slugger report, first hit a home run over the fence or inside the park with no errors in a Spring Branch American Little League game and second have your manager send an email to administrator@sball.org with all of the fantastic details. Remember fundamentals and practice is the fastest way to experience success. Just ask the players listed on this page, how many hours of work it took to get their names on this board and be sure to congratulate them when you see them at the park! Have a great season!
